Fiberon deck with wraparound stairs

Most of this deck sits at ground level, with a small upper landing and wide stairs connecting the two. We used Fiberon Sanctuary decking in Chai for the main field and Earl Grey for the borders and steps, giving the layout a clean two-tone contrast.

The lower boards run at 45 degrees inside the contrasting picture-frame border. At the corner, the stairs turn with the deck and meet in a chevron, with tight miters at every angle.

Black Axxent powder-coated aluminum railing finishes the upper landing. An in-lite low-voltage lighting system is built into the stair risers and along the perimeter, picking up the steps and edges once it gets dark.
